I have some reservations about it but for the most part electric sliding doors are ok. Here are my cons and pros.

Cons:

  • Electricity can always cause problems
  • Delay in sensors
  • Cost of repair
  • Cost of installation

Pros:

  • Pleasing on the eye
  • Great for the disabled and handicap
  • Practical
  • Automatic

So far the types of doors that have sliding option are : french doors (sliding french doors), sliding closet doors, garage doorsPrices for sliding doors
